Chief Revenue Officer
Matt Renner joined SMS Assist in September 2015 as chief revenue officer responsible for building a world-class leadership and global sales teams and fostering leadership in key areas of the company to attract and retain talent.
Matt spent 20 years at the integrated cloud applications and platform services company, Oracle, most recently as senior vice president of business intelligence and enterprise performance management for North America. During that time, he led an organization of more than 900 people.
Matt’s Oracle career included numerous information technology sales leadership roles across core technology, applications, and decision support organizations handling the most complex Oracle solutions and customers. In his role as the executive leading all of Oracle’s North American private-company accounts, Matt managed a team that was responsible for more than $1 billion in new and recurring license and support revenue. He also previously worked in sales and sales leadership for Reynolds and Reynolds/UCS and as a Xerox sales agent.
Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Texas at Austin.
